Wish Upon a Star

If I could wish upon a star
I'd only wish for me to gain
The little wisdom from my heart remains

So I could see the world you see
The world of struggles I choose to keep
Under my covers under my smiles
And finally understand my deepest desires

If I could wish more than one thing
The stars would think "such innocence..."
But they'll change their minds as soon as I shout
"I don't want the one I always dream about"

To have you in my heart is a special thing
As a shadow in my mind that no one could take
As a pain in my heart that feels like a gain
As a creation of my brain that cessed to fade away
